This is absolutely amazing! It's incredible that you made this in just 9 days! I really love the writing, and your use of 3D is incredible! I really want to know how you did the 3D cutscene in the intro.. The only thing I'd really improve is maybe adding a feature where you can move around the camera.
Hello, thanks so much for playing, I would really appreciate if you could rate it on itch if you have not done so, for the intro cutscene, I used the 3d camera extension and used variables to control the position, angle and distance, also using an additional variable that i modified each frame to control the rotation or the zoom of each shot, I used timers to change shots so I could try to time the camera angles to the music :)
Honestly super impressed for a 9 day project. Great job! The graphics are the let down of this game (ive seen a lot worse though so they arent bad either), everything else is superb so far! Great writing as well.
Thanks I appreciate it! I know nothing about 3d modelling what so ever so just made some very basic models on Magica Voxel because I struggled to find free pirate ships and Islands, but I appreciate you playing :)
Thanks a lot! I probably spent too much time on it for a Game Jam, but I'm hoping it makes my game memorable! I have now added some combat as well, but I need to wait for after the Jam to update it :P
